Our collective commitment to end modern slavery has been accepted and promoted by the Clinton Global Initiative!
At tiscreport, we're big on partnerships to achieve big things. Our alliance with Unseen, CIPS, ICC, Business West and the Welsh Government to enable business to end modern slavery has been a featured commitment to action by the Clinton Global Initiative. We're gathering momentum daily, and new sectors are waking up to the opportunity to join forces with us and our mission.
Says Jaya Chakrabarti of tiscreport, "We're humbled and excited in equal measure of the recognition of our collective commitment to end exploitation in supply chains by the CGI. Our purpose is to create technology that enables business to be a more effective force for good. We're already seeing evidence of this in the growing number of statements in our database, which number over 1000 from early-adopting companies. This is hugely encouraging given that the first tranche of companies with year-ends in April don't have to consider it before October this year under current Home Office guidance. The earlier companies submit however, the more effective their statements will be and so CGI's support will be very helpful in raising awareness of our registry."
Company representatives can join by registering on the site and then applying to authenticate their identities against their companies.
