Revealing Product Supply Chains

survey study published in Nature shows that people want their governments to require increased transparency from companies about their supply chains.

Whilst there is fear that this might lead to an increase in prices, if companies are forced to consolidate their suppliers through more stringent due diligence processes, the general direction of public opinion is clear.

Jaya Chakrabarti, CEO of TISCreport says “The whole world is waking up to the fact that everything is connected, and that human rights violations and environmental crimes on the other side of the globe will eventually lead to issues on home turf. The business case for corporate transparency, and the accountability that comes with it, is only going to get stronger.”

TISCreport, the open data platform connecting to international supply chain data silos, continues to track the largest suppliers using available contextual ESG indicators. These can be seen in action on their FTSE100 demo dashboard.
