How to Make the Most of your TISCreport Membership

Published on: 15 April 2019

Contrary to what you can see on the surface, TISCreport is built on a powerful regulatory operating system that helps your supply chain transparency make bigger, more sustainable impact. Contributing members of TISCreport can save significant resources by making use of available data and tools. Expect this list to grow as time goes on!

Basics

1. Check the Compliance of your In-Scope Suppliers with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act

You can see by our MSA Compliance Tracker that a significant proportion of companies haven't complied with Section 54 every year. Non-compliance in one area can often mean that there is non-compliance in others and as such it makes a great non-financial risk indicator. If you are happy to upload your suppliers onto our private and confidential supplier dashboard, you can monitor their compliance live. Alternatively you can do so via a full-blown commercial subscription, discounted for contributing members. Simply log your desired data set on our Paid Service Request option on our helpdesk.

2. Check which suppliers are accredited Living Wage Employers via Living Wage Foundation

Thanks to our partnership with Welsh Government, the Living Wage Foundation updates their accredited employer list via their own dashboard on TISCreport. You can view this via your dashboard by adding in the feed via the Settings tab.

3. Identify Suppliers that Are Accredited B-Corps

B-Corps are a new breed of business in the UK who aim to be beyond transparent, and actually good for our planet and it's people. Patagonia, which recently gave it's £10M$ tax rebate to climate change charities, is a B-Corp just like us. When we grow up we want to be just like them!

4. Subscribe to A Discounted Data Set to Check which Suppliers are Compliant with the Payment Practices and Performance Reporting Regulations 2017

This regulation aims to tackle late payments by large companies to their suppliers, many of which are smaller and vulnerable. Part of the Carillion puzzle lies in this data set. You can subscribe to this via your TISCreport confidential supplier dashboard.

5. Participate in TISCreport Fraternity Innovations on techfund.tiscreport.org

Unlike many other membership organisations, we encourage our members to suggest their innovative ideas to help increase scale and speed of impact of their supply chain transparency. So if you want to participate, be it steering, volunteering, evangelising or contributing to funding, there's plenty to do. Jump in. We can achieve so much more together!

6. AI Compliance Check of your Modern Slavery Statement

Newly launched!! If you are fully contributing member of TISCreport you can take advantage of our automated statement compliance audit for all of your modern slavery statements for as long as you are a member. You can read more about it in our release.
